After nokia its “JOLLA”, The Finnish smartphone maker Jolla has launched its Jolla smartphone at Rs 16,499 in India.The mobile runs Sailfish OS, which is based on MeeGo, the same OS that was last seen on Nokia’s N9 smartphone. Jolla  is a mobile OS which was founded by a group of ex-Nokia employees who were part of the development of MeeGo-based devices at the company.
The smartphone has  4.5-inch IPS qHD(540x960p) display and it is Powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, it comes with 16GB storage expandable via microSD card. It features an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash, and a 2MP front-facing camera. It has a 2,100mAh battery.The Sailfish OS features button-less, gesture-based navigation.The most superb thing of this operating system is that it supports Android apps.This phome has been made to compitate the world’s leading operating system “Android”.The phone has also got a feature which helps to change the phone’s user interface theme.This phone hits the Indian markets with the joint deal of the company  with the e-commerce company SnapDeal of India.
