Now you will see Command promt windows, Type ” Dіskраrt ” аnd hіt Еntеr.
Note : In Windows 8 it will ask you to confirm if you want to allow this program to make changes to this computer. Just click on yes and another Window will open up shortly.

Step 3.

 Now you have to type  ” lіst vоlumе ” аnd hit Enter to see the list of all drives details
Step Now For eg if you want to hide “Drive E” in your system and for that you need to type ” Select volume E ”  and hit Enter.

Step 4.

If you want to hide any other drive in your system you need to replace drive by the required drive name or volume.Now you have selected the Drive successfully which you want to hide. But there is one more step to go which completes the process.

 Step 5:

 To hide the drive you have to type “ Remove letter E ” and hit enter.

 How do i get the Drive Back ?

Dont worry as the questions arises in your mind that ” How do i get my drive back?  “
Its very simple,just following the simple steps below.

Step 1. 

Scroll Back up and perform steps 1,2,3,4 and 5 again.

Step 2.

 Ok now you have Completed the 5 steps listed above. Just make sure you have completed till” Select volume E ”

Step 3.

 Earlier in the article to Hide the drive we typed ” Remove letter E ” , Now to unhide it we will Type ” Assign letter E ” and hit Enter. Thats it the hidden drive is shown now.

Step 4.

Check if you have successfully got the drive back. Now Just Restart your Computer if required.

How to Enable Copy Paste in CMD.

As we know that by default Windows do not allow users to Copy text and Paste it in Command prompt Or Copy text from Command prompt and paste it elsewhere. But there is an option in CMD itself to enable Copy & Paste Text in Windows Command Prompt.
We are going to see how to Enable Copying and Pasting Texts in Windows Command prompt. One of the main advantage of this will be that you can copy any command that you find on the internet or from any word/excel file and paste it directly in CMD and execute that command just like that.

Step 1:

 Open command prompt by just typing “CMD” in search box or by any other easy way you prefer.
Now to enable the copy paste option right Click on the Title of the CMD window and Select Properties just like its shown in the below Picture.

Step 2:

 Now a Pop up Window is displayed,and on the Right hand side, Under Edit Options, select the check box with the option Quick Edit Mode Which is as shown in the picture below and click OK.

Step 3:

 To test it now just Copy any Text from Here or Anywhere else Using CTRL + C keys and just Right click using your mouse on CMD. You will see that the text is been pasted automatically in CMD. Please note  that Using CTRL + C to Copy text is Important.

Step 4:

Similarly if you wish to Copy Text from CMD to paste elsewhere then Just Select the Text in CMD and Again just Right Click with the mouse. Your Text is Copied and ready to Paste it in any Document you want.

Step 5:

This copy paste is not limited only to copy and paste text alone. You can even copy File or Folder path and paste it in CMD.Now knowing this most helpful option everything that you had typed manually can be copied and pasted easily into CMD.This also helps in pasting any long commands from net which was earlier typed with errors, which is very easy.

How to Solve USB device not recognized Problem.

Lot of computer users are facing the problem called “Usb device not recognized” in your desktop computer or laptop. People will probably do lot of things to solve this problem and fail to go through it. Sometimes the motherboard needs to be “rebooted” also because something can go wrong, that is all your USB ports suddenly stop working. The small microprocessor on the motherboard will reload the drivers and your USB ports should be back to recognizing all devices. Unplugging the computer from the power supply restarts the hardware and initiates the other harware components related to it.

So first turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then UNPLUG it from the wall outlet. Let it be for about a minute and then plug it back in.
